New York Premiere of Péter Eötvös's Angels in America, based on the play by Tony Kushner. This operatic adaptation of the groundbreaking, Pulitzer Prize-winning drama distills the two-night, seven-hour work into a single, powerful evening. This production was the first installment of New York City Opera's Pride Initiative.
